8 Women

A film by François Ozon
Starring Catherine Deneuve, Fanny Ardant, Emmanuelle Béart and Danielle Darrieux

One murdered man, eight women, each seeming to be more eager than the others to know the truth.

A family Christmas gathering is disturbed by the patriarch’s murder in director Francois Ozon’s comedic crime mystery. Among the suspects are high-society matron Gaby (Catherine Deneuve), her mother-in-law, Mamy (Danielle Darrieux) and her sister, Augustine (Isabelle Huppert). They’re among the eight women trapped in the snow-bound house. This musical whodunit explores each woman’s motive for the crime while they try to uncover the killer.
