Big Fan
A film by Robert D. Siegel
Starring Patton Oswalt
Paul Aufiero (PATTON OSWALT), a 35-year-old parking garage attendant, is the self-described “world’s biggest New York Giants fan.” He lives at home with his mother spending his off hours calling in to a local sports-radio station show, where he rants and raves in support of his beloved team. One night, Paul spots Giants star linebacker Quantrell Bishop. Paul cautiously decides to approach him, stepping into the rarefied air of football stardom — and things do not go as planned.

Official Selection – Sundance Film Festival
Roll over Quentin Tarantino and tell Robert Rodriguez the news. With Big Fan, Robert Seigel proves that the existential poetics of popular culture have a new laureate.
