Two naive American college students traveling through Europe become lost and disoriented in the woods after their car breaks down.  They have the misfortune of stumbling upon the home and laboratory of mad scientist Dr. Heiter, a man once celebrated for his work separating Siamese twins who has now dedicated his life to the opposite cause—creating the perfect “human centipede.”
