Rin Tin Tin: The Life And Legend presented by Susan Orlean
One Night Only! See the life and legend and a special silent screening of the 1925 film “CLASH OF THE WOLVES” with live organ accompaniment!
Author Susan Orlean (“The Orchid Thief”) will appear LIVE at the Music Box to discuss the life and legend of Rin Tin Tin. This special event will include a short video illustrating Rin Tin Tin’s century of fame, a reading and talk about Ms. Orlean’s new book “RIN TIN TIN: The Life and the Legend,” a screening of his greatest silent film, “Clash of the Wolves” (with live organ accompaniment) and book signing.
Representatives from Chicago Canine Rescue will be on hand with adoptable dogs in our lobby for the duration of the event.
Ms. Orlean will also present a special screening of the film ADAPTATION, based on her book “The Orchid Thief”, starring Nicolas Cage. ADAPTATION will preceed RIN TIN TIN at 2:00pm with Q&A to follow!
