The Black Pirate

A film by Albert Parker

The first feature film using the very early two-strip Technicolor process (a red image and a green image literally glued together to make color!). They couldn’t have picked a better movie to premiere the process, as this swashbuckling adventure starring Douglas Fairbanks positively leaps to life with color.
