There’s Always Tomorrow
A film by Douglas Sirk
Starring Fred MacMurray, Barbara Stanwyck
Fred MacMurray plays Clifford Groves, a prosperous owner of a toy factory with a large, happy family, yet family life provides none of the thrill of his younger years. Enter Barbara Stanwyck, his old flame, serendipitously in town and eager to rekindle a friendship. Groves’ children stumble upon that chance encounter and take an active, moralistic part in it.
