Hello Music Boxers,
As you may have heard, this Friday we’re kicking off The Wes Anderson Anthology, a complete look at the cinematic legacy to date of one of the most unique voices in contemporary American film. Additionally, on Saturday, March 1st at 4pm, the Music Box will host a special advance screening of Anderson’s newest feature, The Grand Budapest Hotel (Opening in Chicago on March 14th), followed by an in-person Q&A with Wes Anderson himself. And it’s FREE!
So, how can you get in on this excellent event? Read on.
On Tuesday, Feb 25 (Tomorrow!) at Noon, we will begin accepting RSVPs online (Right Here). We are only taking RSVPs through the website, you may not call or visit the theatre to RSVP.
Patrons have the option of RSVPing for 1 or 2 people. We politely ask that, unless you have already worked it out with a specific friend beforehand, please don’t RSVP for two people. This is going to be a very popular event and we would hate to turn people away for RSVPs that are going unused.
To ensure a full theatre, this will be an overbooked event. Patrons will be admitted on a first-come, first-serve basis on Saturday. An RSVP does not guarantee admittance. We plan on seating around 3:15pm on Saturday. Patrons who secure an RSVP must PRINT OUT their confirmation and present it at the Music Box box office on Saturday.
Also on Saturday, consider sticking around for opening night of the Chicago Irish Film Festival. Check out their full schedule and purchase tickets here.
