Theatre 2

This 100 seat auditorium was built into a storefront adjacent to the original theatre in 1991, and transformed in 2013 into a comfortable 70-seat screening room with a new sound system, digital cinema projector, and new seats. Theatre 2 is a wonderful place to catch films that may not be able to fill a 700-seat room, but deserve our attention nonetheless. Smaller screening rooms are traditionally places where directors go to watch dailies (unedited footage from a day’s shooting), or critics see films for the first time. Our screening room is dark, cozy, has great acoustics, and little to distract, so you can focus on what’s important, the movie!

Theatre 2 has a native 2.39:1 screen with variable masking, a Barco 2k digital cinema projector capable of screening DCPs and Blu-rays, and two Norelco FP20 35mm projectors for archival reel to reel film projection. 16mm projection can also be brought in for special screenings.
