Two beloved Chicago nonprofits, Chicago Canine Rescue and SitStayRead join forces this winter to bring you a family-friendly matinée film screening of THE SECRET LIFE OF PETS. All proceeds will be shared by the two organizations.

Join 700 dog, book, and movie lovers of all ages for a special screening of vintage cartoons and 2016 animated hit from Illumination, The Secret Life of Pets.

Chicago Canine Rescue will introduce you to puppies or dogs currently looking for their forever home. Staff, Book Buddies, and Certified Reading Assistance Dogs will be on hand as well, to share about SitStayRead's literacy work and volunteer opportunities, before the film starts in the Music Box Lounge.

Ticket and pre-ordered concessions sales support our dog rescue and canine-assisted literacy work.  VIP, child or adult general admission, and family packages are available.  Music Box Theatre members receive a $5 discount on individual tickets.
