“My father took me to the movies all the time. He told me about the first one he ever saw. He went into a dark room, and on a white screen, he saw a rocket *fly* - into the eye of the man in the moon. - It went straight in. He said it was like seeing his dreams in the middle of the day. The movies were our special place.” (Hugo)
Join us at the marvelous Music Box Theatre for “Indoor Kids: Family-Friendly Matinees”, a recurring series celebrating films for the whole family, from every era of filmdom. Bring just yourself; bring your nephews, nieces, kids; or have them bring you. Because it’s never too early to start seeing your dreams in the middle of the day.
Indoor Kids is a family friendly series that includes films for kids in a wide age group. These may include independent films, foreign films, or films made before the MPAA rating system. Please do your own research to see if the film is appropriate for your child’s age. We suggest using the website commonsensemedia.org. If you still have questions email us at programming@musicboxtheatre.com before you attend a screening, we’re happy to help.
