In a future corporate hellscape, convicted death row inmates are sentenced to a mind-control game. Survive 30 sessions of the ultraviolent virtual televised game, "Slayers," while controlled by a stranger and be set free. Kable (Gerard Butler) is a wrongly convicted star player controlled by wealthy teenager, Simon (Logan Lerman). With Kable close to completing the game against all odds, a resistance group sees him as the key to ending this high-tech form of modern slavery.
