Thirty years after her death at senior prom, the spirit of Mary Lou Maloney is back at school and ready for her revenge. And she’s burning to be prom queen, even if it kills her again. The Prom Night franchise kicks into delirious supernatural slasher overdrive with this delightfully energetic, in-name-only follow-up. It’s an extremely ‘80s Canuxploitation mashup of A Nightmare on Elm Street and Carrie, stacked with stellar kill sequences and super ambitious SFX work.
