Ever wondered how independent films are made or maybe you’re an aspiring filmmaker or student who is looking for strategies to take their filmmaking to the next level?  Local film professor, John Otterbacher, presents a duo of longer short films addressing mental health and gun violence. Through THE TALES OF HARSH GRUDER and THE FORGOTTEN VICTIM we will discuss this process from conception to distribution.

THE FORGOTTEN VICTIM (2024): When her daughter goes missing, a desperate mother teams up with her ex-husband at a secluded fitness center to unravel the mystery.

THE TALES OF HARSH GRUDER (2025): A recovering addict contemplates the point of living, when an unexpected visit by his life-long buddy sets in motion a night of psychedelic absurdity and devastating revelation.
