"Director Graham Mason and stars Matt Barats and Anthony Oberbeck in person, plus a very special Reveries-style Q&A with the Drifters"

Two mysterious drifters wandering a strange desert find themselves thrown into a journey of self-discovery, traversing a surreal and hostile terrain in search of answers to life’s unanswerable questions. As they spiral deeper into a world of madness they must discover the meaning of... THE MIND PRISON.

Reveries: The Mind Prison is a comedy movie/art film hybrid, a sprawling experiment in unbridled creativity and collaboration. Told through a combination of narrative scenes, abstract video montages, and meditative voice overs, it’s best described as Aki Kaurismaki meets a lo-fi Koyaanisquatsi narrated by Steven Wright, or as Vulture magazine put it - “like an Ayahuasca session conducted by Mitch Hedberg”.

THE MIND PRISON is the feature-length culmination to 'The REVERIES trilogy' which encompasses the experimental comedy art films REVERIES (2018, 46m) and REVERIES: GOING DEEPER (2020, 60m).

REVERIES is also an ongoing live comedy show that Matt and Anthony have toured across the country.
