Toasting their late friend at a distillery on New Year’s Eve, three former bandmates stumble into a top-shelf tasting where wishes are required for every bottle. But when their dreams become nightmares, they discover that every pour has its price.

Inspired by tales of B-movie maverick Roger Corman filming features like Little Shop of Horrors and The Terror in less than a week, director Chris LaMartina celebrated his 40th birthday by shooting the feature in just four days of principal photography on a total budget of $40K.

Spirit Tasting is a sobering post-punk riff on the seminal horror story "The Monkey’s Paw" that explores “what ifs” of the past and aspirations for the future—with ghastly and gory consequences. The film stars Sean Doherty, Matt Lake, Melissa LaMartina, Trevor Wilhelms, Matt Baughman, Cate Paris, and Tatiana Nya Ford with cameos from Grady Hendrix, Clay McLeod Chapman, Peaches Christ, and Henry Zebrowski.
