SUPER-HORROR-RAMA! returns to Music Box for late-nite screenings in Theatre 2, and this time we're throwing the switch on cyberpunk nightmares and body horror shockers by cult filmmaker Shinya Tsukamoto! Brace yourself for these back-to-back nights of metallic monsters and apocalyptic chaos! No matter if you're new to Tsukamoto or a longtime fan, seeing these sci-fi/horror oddities on the big screen—the delirious imagery, the frenetic action, the ultra-gross DIY special effects—it’s a trip you'll never forget!

In Tetsuo: The Iron Man, a wild contagion infects ordinary people and transforms them into violent machines with a mission to create a new world of metal! Often compared to the films of David Lynch, David Cronenberg, and Sam Raimi, Tetsuo is a spectacular hybrid of industrial terror, excruciating metamorphosis, epic superhero combat, and sweaty metal fetishism.

And what's that playing on the main character's TV? It's Tsukamoto's previous film, Adventures of Electric Rod Boy, which we're screening Friday, April 18, the day before Tetsuo!

Every ticket includes a Limited Edition Pinback Button (new design each night), and every show kicks off with killer giveaways donated by The House of Monsters, The ShadowboxeryCryptid Craft StudioNight Natalie, and Drive-In Asylum for the first folks who answer our trivia questions correctly!
