This month Derek will be joined in conversation with Greg Kennedy (comedian), VV Lightbody (musician), Krill (musician), Ryan Oestreich (Music Box Theatre GM), and Ralph Darden (artist).

Welcome to the Show is a live, traveling talk show that highlights Chicago-based artists, entertainers, and public figures from all walks of life. Since starting the show in June 2024, Derek Bish has sat down with over 180 Chicagoans including filmmakers, journalists, actors, musicians, homicide detectives, taxidermists, puppeteers, authors, and more! It is a vintage-style talk show, not a podcast, but a live, in-the-moment show that gathers people together and introduces them to some wonderful Chicagoans. The show is free to the public to ensure as many folks as possible are able to come and enjoy an evening of getting to know their communities and neighbors.

Music Box Theatre screens films of all genres and from every era of cinema, both new releases and repertory. These films may sometimes contain upsetting, outdated, or offensive material. While we aim to introduce many of our screenings, we do not always provide warnings about potentially triggering content within the films we screen. We encourage our patrons to research the film before they attend using trailers, reviews, or content information found on Common Sense Media, IMDb and DoesTheDogDie.com.
