Death, Sex & Money — hosted by Anna Sale — is a show about the big questions and hard choices that are often left out of polite conversation. Learn how money, relationships and work all intertwined for writer and actor Mara Wilson (Matilda, BoJack Horseman) at this special live interview.
Stay after the interview for a screening of one of Mara’s favorite films Clueless!
Mara Wilson is best known for her childhood roles in Mrs. Doubtfire and Matilda. Now she plays The Faceless Old Woman Who Secretly Lives in Your Home on Welcome to Night Vale, Jill Pill on the Netflix series Bojack Horseman, and hosts her show about fears and anxieties, What Are You Afraid Of?, at Q.E.D. in Astoria, Queens. Music Box Theatre screens films of all genres and from every era of cinema, both new releases and repertory. These films may sometimes contain upsetting, outdated, or offensive material. While we aim to introduce many of our screenings, we do not always provide warnings about potentially triggering content within the films we screen. We encourage our patrons to research the film before they attend using trailers, reviews, or content information found on Common Sense Media, IMDb and DoesTheDogDie.com.
