In partnership with Shout! Studios and GKIDS the Music Box Theatre is thrilled to present "Hong Kong Cinema Classics," a retrospective of essential titles produced in the creative epicenter of Hong Kong, newly scanned in 4K and restored from original camera elements.

Featuring long-unavailable works from directors John Woo, Tsui Hark, Ringo Lam, and Ching Siu-tung, these stories of cops and criminals, Chinese opera, and supernatural forces showcase one of the most explosively inventive eras in modern filmmaking. This 10-film "Hong Kong Cinema Classics” film series will include City On Fire, Hard Boiled, The Killer, Peking Opera Blues, A Better Tomorrow Trilogy, & A Chinese Ghost Story Trilogy.
